Getting Started with Training & Design Services
As a nonprofit focused on advancing the work and life goals of people with disabilities, we like to partner with organizations with similar goals and missions.
We work with other nonprofits, government agencies at both the state and federal level, schools, universities and other higher education entities, employers, advocacy groups and anyone else working to improve the lives of people with disabilties.

The George Washington University Center for Rehabilitation Counseling Research and Education (GW-CRCRE) is a national leader in Rehabilitation Counseling education and research, and strives to provide opportunities for growth and development to diverse populations. Wisconsin Aging and Disability Resource Centers (ADRCs)
If you have questions about aging or living with a disability, your local aging and disability resource center (ADRC) can help.The ADRC provides information on a variety of programs and services. That includes long-term care options. The ADRC also helps people apply for programs and benefits, including publicly funded long-term care.

Wisconsin Disability Benefits Network (WDBN)
The ERI developed and directs the Wisconsin Disability Benefits Network (WDBN) with funding from the Wisconsin Department of Health Services. The WDBN provides training, technical assistance and a professional forum for Benefit specialists throughout Wisconsin. The WDBN seeks ways to reach out and better serve people with disabilities, their supporters and professional service providers regarding the impact of employment on government benefits.

Competitive Integrated Employment (CIE) Training Series
Trainings developed as part of the Wisconsin Department of Health Services competitive integrated employment (CIE) initiatives. The goal is to support people with disabilities in pursing their CIE goals.

Wisconsin Mental Health Forums Series
This series identified the inequalities that diverse and marginalized groups face in the Behavioral Health System and shared concepts of how to improve their experiences when seeking treatment. The series focused on the following underserved populations: African American, Native American, Hispanic/Latinx and Hmong Ethnicity, people with whom English is not a primary language, including the deaf and hard of hearing populations, and the LGBTQ+ community.

Recent Projects
Wisconsin Promise was a project for 2000 participating Wisconsin families with 14 to 16 year old teens who receive Supplemental Social Security Income (SSI). The goal was to support teens receiving SSI and their families in achieving their education and career goals.
